The Blog

My Digital Notebook is a blog about digital media, online journalism and Internet search. Besides that I am going to use it for perspective and to share the best online links that I find.

Me

I’ve worked as a journalist, a magazine editor and now I have wound up as Head of Publishing for a search and new media agency based in London. I’ve been blogging since 2006, but this will be my first time writing about digital media.

You might suppose that the very last thing that this world needs is another blog about blogging, and I’d agree. I’m going to try and keep the content here useful and informative. And, as a base level, I think that it’s important to remember that, when it comes to the Internet, nobody really knows anything anyway. Journalists, just like everyone else, are working it out as we go.

A few quick (2.0) points:

I use Wordpress to blog, I manage all my bookmarks with Delicious, I’m on Twitter @petermoore, I’m on Flickr under the name elvillano, and a bank of my old magazine articles, and the odd early digital piece, can be found at a website also called elvillano.co.uk

You can view my Google Profile here.

Quick Web 2.0 tutorial:

“Just nick what you think works – and remember no one really knows anything ;o)” – (Ourman on Twitter)
